Lions, Argos kick off Week 15 at BC Place

VANCOUVER — The BC Lions will try to go for three wins in a row when they welcome the Toronto Argonauts to BC Place on Friday Night Football.

Both common sense and sporting logic inform us this matchup should be a near walkover for the Lions. Argos are reeling, some obvious malcontents on the roster and coaching staff, too.

BUT NOT!

Setting aside the fact an Argo upset would be extremely kind to the first place Winnipeg Blue Bombers - I just don’t see a BC walkover. I can see the disgraced man Chad Kelly coming out of his ugly playing aura and putting up some good passing numbers. Don’t know if Oulletti is ready to rumble. Argos need him. He’s a great RB - also a guy who keeps teammates motivated.

That said - there’s prolly a 30% chance the Lions overwhelm these Argos by 3 scores - at least before they go into dead time.

Maybe a 12% chance Kelly somehow rallies his inferior group to a thrilling last minute or OT victory.

Realistically, due mainly to league parity - Lions 31, Argos 23

Lyle, Oullette now plays for Saskatchewan and won’t be ready to rumble for Toronto as a result.

Not specifically. Waiting for someone to start one. Why don’t you do so since it’s your team playing?

Maksymic is responsible for BCs offence. At the end of the year, he has to go.
