Congratulations to the B.C. Lions and their impressive comeback win at Mosaic versus the Riders. :star_struck: The Lions led by rookie Canadian pivot Nathan Rourke scored 28 unanswered points after trailing 17-4 in the first half. :face_with_peeking_eye:

The Lions will compete with the Stamps and the Bombers for a :hash: :one: :two: or :three: position for the highly competitive West division :bangbang:

sad attempt at playing football by the riders in the second half

Once again a coach unable to make gameplay adjustments to his team and a panicked, weak QB cost the riders a game.
How many times do we have to watch Farjardo throwing the ball blindly and completely out of control for a pick, because he's rushed.
BC defense looked terrible in first quarter and adjusted nicely.
Rourke looked great in the second half, sharp strong, accurate passes.
Mason Fine looked decent enough in the 8 plays we saw him, too bad we can't see him start a game.

The Riders O-Line has to be held accountable as well. Any quarterback can be rattled when the Lions play fast on Defense-which they are doing in this 2022 season.

No doubt about it, the Riders are where they are in the standings because they continue to play with Fajardo. If he is injured then he should be on the injury list not the active roster. Isn't the backup QB hired to take over when the starter isn't available due to injury or sickness? And the Riders still need to deal with the many penalties they keep getting.
I see Duke Williams being disaplined has had a bit of an effect on his performance. Only managed about 45% receptions and he is supposed to be the Rider's high profile receiver. Must be choking on humble pie.

The Riders are where they are because the front office didn’t build an O Line. Without that, the Riders will continue to line up quarterbacks to fall like dominoes.

Linemen are the heart of the game. BC's were better. Unfortunately right now, so are most other teams.
