VANCOUVER — The BC Lions have added more weapons to their arsenal. The team announced on Wednesday they have added six American wide receivers to the 2024 roster, including Jeff Cotton, Taylor Grimes, Charles Headen III, Ed Lee, Mataio Talalemotu and John Ursua.
It’s great to see the CFL continue to take advantage of the situation with the spring leagues and have had the jump on recruiting of players for 2024, which is in stark contrast to one year ago in late 2022 when they squandered their advantage, before the XFL 3.5 finally overcame the Las Vegas mess into which they had walked, so as to go forward as had been planned and without breaking promises to not be a trash hub league too.
