i am particularly interested in seeing how VA does with a full training camp and Evans behind him to push him. i think Hatcher could have a monster year with Burnham now retired. running back battle at training camp will be worth watching.

there are only two things i miss about living in vancouver - going to the Lions games and the variety of awesome restaurants and eating choices. even the street vendor food carts are excellent lol.
Ever eaten at the Flying Wedge Pizza? (not sure if they're around anymore, but were in my neighbourhood when I lived there during the '90s). Went to a few Lions games when I was living there.
i do remember flying wedge. but Did’s pizza and Zaccary’s pizza were my favs.
i miss Jappa-dog and Taco-nori! unique delicious lunch to go pregame picnics on the sea wall.

Wow, that's all we need in a nine team league, another all black team. So they're basically the OrangeBlacks instead of the RedBlacks. The league should have a rule about teams not being able to have their uniforms look too close to each other. BC Lions main colour has always been orange (except for the time in the '90s when they were trying to look like the Vancouver Raiders).

Actually, this is factually incorrect. The club has worn black uniforms throughout much of its existence. For example, they wore black jerseys throughout all of the 1960's up to 1972, when switched to orange.
They then introduced black home jerseys in the 1990 season and wore them all the way through the 2004 season. Even in 2005 and 2006, the club wore a black home alternate jersey. In fact, they have won 3 Grey Cups wearing black - 1964, 2000, and 2006. Black is not new for the Leos.

Can’t wait to get this season started. Of course losing Rourke was devastating, but let’s give VA a chance. I wish there was more off-season coverage, and more coverage period. I see other teams with their weekly shows with coaches and players…why not the Lions? Seems weak. Fans want content.
