Yeah it IS good to see Team @CanadaJack doing well. No more 0-9 starts for these guys.
And as a raging Winnipeg fan I gotta root for our most recent alumnus… quarterback Dru Brown whenever Ottawa doesn’t play us. He graduated from the Bombers ‘Summa cum laude’, the Latin of which roughly translates to: ‘Guy with Moustache who Slings Rock’.

Lewis Ward is probably my favourite kicker in the CFL right now. One of my biggest inspirations. So clutch and a record-holder with 69 consecutive field goals made. Come back player of the year imo after his season-ending shoulder injury.
I’m going to try my hand at video creation on YouTube and have already created the thumbnail for my first video

That’s been a huge problem. This site should be linked to those supporter group sites. Would be a great way to grow the community. Instead on some of the teams sub forums it’s a great day when a topic gets into double digit replies. Sad

My second favorite also. I was so glad when they came back. I bought a tee shirt just to support them. It came 5 days before they played their first game. That shirt is still in good shape. Quality! Go Lions Go though

I was just hoping they’d compete this year; wow have they been overachieving!
It took a while for everyone to realize that they really are the real deal. Their first 5 wins or so were always followed by (ie. Power Rankings guys) ‘but they’ve been playing weak teams’.
They’re very exciting to watch … here’s hoping the fan base will continue to grow rapidly.

And Pimpleton off the 6 game IR and back at practice but limited today. Hope they turn him loose against Hamilton.
With Dedmon out he will probably be the returner too.
They will likely go with the two backs, Laborn and Morrow.

the league was more fun when two teams had the same name, especially when they played each other. Justin Neilson would have a field day with it.
it is great to see the RB’s do well finally. def loved seeing them smoke the Argos.

Agreed on the Argos defeat. My son and I are hoping for an upset in Hamilton on Saturday. And a Lions victory, of course.
