Je crois que Hopkins était un joueur plus facile à remplacer que Lavoie.
Lavoie jouait sur les unités spéciales et à l’attaque, pour bloquer et recevoir des passes. Certes, Berry et Miller n’avaient pas l’imagination qu’il faut pour bien se servir de ses atouts, mais il demeure un joueur polyvalent qui ajoute plusieurs facettes à une attaque.
La question que je me pose est qui a été protégé à la place de Lavoie? Je pourrais comprendre bien des sélections, mais si c’est Messam, je ne comprendrais pas du tout.
J’en doute que c’était Messam; je l’esepere ou moins.
Lavoie had back issues that had him miss a portion of the season, I know Popp mentioned that health matters were factored in the decision making process.. and I believe all 3 guys that we lost has some injury history.
In the end I simply trust Popp in these matters, if he exposed Lavoie.. he had his reasons.
I'm fine with it.
As for Messam, he's simply not a running back in my view. I'd like to see him used elsewhere, convert him to D-line or something.. or tight-end if he had the hands.
