Last winter,after Larry Taylor had signed with the Jets, Jim Popp told David Arsenault of RDS that LeRoy Vann,return specialist and CB, was on the Als negotiation list; Jim Popp added that he would like to sign this player from Florida A&M.

After this year NFL draft, LeRoy was signed as a free agent by San Francisco; he was released today.

This player is a "top notch" return specialist. I would not be surprised if,after the bye week, he is signed by the Als. Tim Maypray is doing an excellent job,but we could have another one who could also add depth to our secondary.

Oui, mais a-t-on vraiment besoin d'ajouter un joueur à ce stade-ci de la saison? Il va lui falloir apprendre tous les systèmes des unités spéciales et de la défense.

Et on ne peut pas dire que Maypray déçoit.

Un bon pari pour l'an prochain, peut-être.

RV, interesting post as usual. I have not come across many corners who also return kicks. I imagine he was an NFL draft for his returning skill not to play corner?
