Leos at Nags Preseason - Wed. June 15, 9 pm et (TSN2)

Lions at Stampeders (TSN2)
Tonight at 9pm et/6pm pt

Also on TSN Mobile TV

It is true -- the game threads are BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! LOL

I do not know if I will partake in the game thread tonight as I will be elsewhere. I will be teeing much of these games up for this board as always, apart from the Tiger-Cat gameday threads that BYF has done such a stellar job doing over the last few seasons.

Stay tuned for a lot more now that TSN has drastically upped its coverage of preseason football!

Oski Wee Wee,

Russ

Woohoo. It's that time of year again.

Stoked... nuff said!

While I'm excited that football is finally starting on TV, I doubt I'll be watching much of tonight's game. Something also tells me that not that many people in Vancouver are going to be tuning in to watch their Lions on TSN2. More likely, they'll be locked on CBC like me. With any luck, I can steal the recorder for tonight's game.

But the rest, I'm there. Too bad I have to make do with Internet radio this Saturday (grumble grumble).

I'll be watching this but alot people will be watching Game 7 of the Hockey thing ..

Not me I hate Hockey .. It football or bust

I would like to know how Sinopoli will do. This article seemed to suggest he could be the Stamps third stringer: http://cfl.ca/article/stamps-like-what- ... rookie-qbs

But there is a certain NHL game I'm watching.

And yes, I plan on being the game thread starter for Ticat games again this year.

Interesting to see the new version of the game tracker on the CFL's website: http://gametracker.cfl.ca/newLiveStats/ ... m_id=26300

BC is up 7-0.

But I think more people in BC are more concerned about the Canucks being down 3-0 after two periods.

Interesting to see this:

Field Goals FG LG XP PTS
P. MCCALLUM
1/1 22 1/1 4

Punting NO AVG NET LG
P. MCCALLUM 2 40.0 80 42

Kickoffs NO YDS LG SG
H. O'NEILL ('11 DRAFT) 2 107 59 0
P. MCCALLUM 1 67 67 0

O'Neill is only handling kickoffs so far?

10-0 BC after that McCallum FG.

Well, this one appears to be over now.

Just checking the stats here: http://liveplay.cflcentral.com/LPFiles/ ... board.html

Sinopoli went 5/11 for 33 yards. And I think he got sacked two or three times. But Gachette was 1/3 for -3 yards.

Speaking of sacks, former Ticat Khari Long got one. And speaking of former Ticats, Zac Carlson fumbled two away.

O'Neill did punt later, and here are the punting stats for BC:

Punting NO AVG NET LG
H. O'NEILL ('11 DRAFT) 8 45.1 311 50
P. MCCALLUM 5 37.2 144 42

BC won 24-0, but that may not matter much to those in Vancouver. I'm watching how ugly things are getting there now.

Quite the shellacking - 24-0 Lions!

Not many bright spots for the Stamps...we shall see how the second game of the preseason goes with more of the starters getting reps.

Oski Wee Wee,

Russ

Couldn't watch it live but taped it and watched the highlights this morning. Yes, the season is back, just watching the intro on TSN was great!

I missed most of the game due to an earlier commitment, but I did get to see the highlights with Lulay looking sharp. One can take preseason openers for what they are...it is the second game of the preseason where one can get a better read on how a team's prep has gone.

Oski Wee Wee,

Russ

Wally tends to be good at getting rookies ready to play. Lulay looked on target for sure. It will be interesting to see the kind of year BC has. Jackson is a solid #2 with a super strong arm.

Not a huge fan of the Stamps all red combo, anyone know if they've ever wore it before, cant seem to find any pictures of it, im sure they have.

All I can say is, its been to long, so happy CFL football is back
