I know it's early but I wanted to tee this one up in advance!
Should be a barnburner as we get to see how Richie Hall handles his new dual role as head coach and defensive coordinator against the Casey Printers-led passing attack of the Lions.
We'll also get to see the new Field Turf surface at Commonwealth Stadium for the first time!

Looks like the new Field Turf surface is a little sticky in its debut...it will likely take a couple of months to start getting the consistency for good footing.
19-10 BC after another McCallum FG -- 5:45 left, 3rd quarter.
Big fumble on a punt by Edmonton -- BC is deep in the Esk end...
McCallum chipshot FG makes it 22-10, Braleys West. 
A Ray fumbbbbbbbbbbbbbbllllllllle -- BC can salt this away, 6:04 left, 4th quarter -- still 22-10...
25-10 BC with 3:02 left -- McCallum is six-for-six today.
Stick a fork in it -- BC wins -- ciao folks!
I tuned in late in the third, all I can say is boring boring boring
Overall he was pretty good, but we caught a few glimpses of the Hamilton Casey too (getting caught while running backwards from the line trying to avoid a sack, a few throws to receivers’ shoetops). It should be interesting to see how his season goes.
We should have signed Robertson.
