The Toronto Star reports that talks are heating up between owner David Braley and MLSE. Leiweke says that they will be renovating BMO field to be like a English Premier league stadium but suitable for football as well. It will be a 30,000 seater with grass and a roof over the stands. Leiweke noted that they need to be able to showcase a successful CFL team if they want to eventually land a NFL team.
Would MLSE ownership represent the beginning of the end for the Argos? Or the beginning of a new beginning?
