A fellow with the username "jv" at the 13thman.com website has posted a thread about a report in the Regina Leader-Post stating that Perry Lefko is no longer the CFL Director of Communications.
"NOTES: Perry Lefko has been removed as the CFL's director of communications. A former Toronto Sun sports reporter, Lefko was hired 10 months ago by former CFL commissioner Tom Wright, who wasn't rehired by CFL governors. Mark Cohon is the CFL's new commissioner. A press release issued by the CFL office Thursday stated communications co-ordinator Jamie Dykstra would be handling the director's duties. Lefko declined comment to the Leader-Post, but confirmed that he was no longer working for the CFL."
Lefko was one of the more credible CFL reporters during his tenure at the Toronto Sun. One hopes that he will resume writing for the newspaper of a CFL city in the very near future.
