Hello, Edmonton Elks fans. It’s always darkest before the dawn. Believe it. That dawn is coming.
Dalton Schoen is a tough cookie and a shoe in for top rookie. He got rocked at least twice during the Banjo Bowl and hung on to the ball. Also top touchdown receiver.
We like Deep Threat Dalton’s progress so far Mister Dibs. You’ll notice his report card mentioned that he ‘Works well with others… especially quarterbacks.’
And has good hygiene too.
Another impressive Schoen stats is among receiver who have caught more than 15 passes, Schoen is second to only Malik Henry in average yardage per catch.
Dalton reminded me of Jason Clermont with those catches, & that’s a real compliment in my world. He was a guy who hung onto the ball through some hellacious hits too. I often wondered if he could get up afterwards but he always did. Tough man.
Yes indeed, Dalton is a tough rookie cookie. mm
