Landry: A New Year's resolution for every CFL team

The 2024 season is in the books and it’s almost time to turn the calendar to 2025.

With celebrations getting set to begin, here is a New Year’s resolution for every CFL team.

I would like to see a NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION, that from this point forward, the upcoming schedule for any CFL Season, will always, without failure, be released at the “BEGINNING” of GREY CUP WEEK!!!

Well, there’s 2 minutes I can’t get back.

Got to find those 2 mins:joy::rofl:

EDMONTON ELKS

RESOLUTION: To stop being so gracious.

In 2025, resolve to stop being so magnanimous, you Elks. Be jerks.

I can remember when the EE were jerks and the entire CFL was like you bunch of jerks stop it and now you won a Grey Cup as jerks Chris Jones can do whatever he wants and go to wholesome Saskatchewan.

Now it is stop being soft because Chris Jones is going to raid the EE again and weaken your defence to make sure you won’t win at home again.

Please please spend on players for what they have done and not what they can do while the development pipeline dries up.

Happy New Year 25.

saskatchewan roughriders New Years resolution starting 2025. To stop running that bloated CFL Professional Franchise like a old school Ma and Pa local corner store of yesteryear 1950’s. A major reshuffling of the deck is sorely needed in fast order, starting by whittling down all the unnecessary hang around for nothing’s working there in roles that have nothing to do with pro football. 80 employees is all thats needed to run a Professional Football business. sask riders have become a benevolent entity beging on gov’t/city hand outs, that won’t win you wont win any Grey Cups in the CFL.
