Did not play in: 1962, 1965–66, 1969–70, 1972–74, 1976–77, 1979, 1981–86, 1990, 1995, 2011, 2013, 2020
NOTE: We played 9 Labour Day games at home vs Montreal (Alouettes/Concordes) in 1962, 1965, 1970, 1982-86, and 2011. We never lost - won 8 and tied once!
Just had a quick look. The Argo QB in 1996 and 1997 was Doug Flutie. So it’s possible he played in both of those winning LDC games. Is there any way to check those 2 particular games?
Update: Yes, he was the QB for both of those games…
Visitors’ line-up is first out and the only change, from their last game on Aug. 22nd, is Dukes listed as #2 QB, ahead of Arbuckle, who was second for that game.
I hear ya on that loud and clear . The only reason I am going to tomorrows game is because my son is in town from BC and my cousin is in town from Ottawa . Basically just going to have a few cold ones , a few laughs and especially just to heckle the everloving shit out of Chad “Lamps” Kelly . We got seats right behind the Anchors bench so it’s going to be fun .
I have no issue with Bell starting if Milo thinks he’s better. But, on a team so lacking in talent, I don’t understand how they can’t make room for both of them. Patmon dressed last game so they could attempt one long pass to him. Can’t help but think Butler could contribute more.
Butler has to be hurt (concussed ) . Coaches play their best in big games . Labour Day is a big game and Butler is their best . Barton High played their best here in the Hammer
