Kiss the witches, we crushed them

What are you basing this on? I saw very little that would lead me to that conclusion... If that game was played by Jack wickerson from new mexico state would you say that?
*morgan freeman voice* He would not.
fixed it for you

Sometimes you watch a guy play and you see he has it. Definitely not put together tonight, but it's there.

Obviously can't judge on one game, but I think we're going to see big improvement by seasons end.

Him going to make that tackle on Daly shows alot. I wish we could have seen him play for us.

Can we please stop putting these two on a level playing field?

One has almost 30 starts and years in the league. The other has 1 start and weeks in the league.

Not defending Johnny's play and I'm not going as far as to say he's going to be good...we have no idea....

But yes, if Masoli played like he he would be deserving of getting destroyed.

Really? Is that why Montreal is on their 14th starter in the last 4 odd years?

It took us a decade to find zach.

Again, with better protection and recievers, I think JF would have had much better results.

Time will tell I suppose, but my guess is we'll continue to play .500 ball with Masoli. I'll get lambasted but I think we would have been looking at a 2015 type season with JF behind centre.

It's really too bad (for JF) that he didn't get a chance to stick it out in Hamilton, on a good* team. Behind a QB where he can absorb the game and learn the league. His first start should have been against a powderpuff Montreal team, not for them.

As Johnny said after the game, one game does not define a career.

I was very impressed with the way he got himself out of being sacked so many times. Any other qb in the league would have been sacked 4 or 5 times in that game.

In fairness he had the choice to accept the league minimum. He kinda put us in the spot asking for starters money.

Worked late so i just finished watching the highlights. Very unexpected.

Team and fans really needed that big win.

Well done team.

Who cares about Johnny now? Hes the enemy

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.?

Sun Tzu! Now you are stepping up the post standards Espo!

Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys; look on them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death

The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy's not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him; not on the chance of his not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable

It wasn't inability to throw the ball that washed those guys out. Being able to deliver the ball isn't a guarantee of success, it's the price of admission to getting a chance to play at this level. Any of those previous 13 guys will throw your face off in a pickup game. Once guys have checked off the prerequisites to get a serious look as a pro, it mostly boils down to the mental game. That's why a guy like Jonathan Jennings in BC could look lights-out one season and look like a schmuck the next.

I want what youre on Esp lol

And a little of what you are on too

An aggressive, consent pressure defense along with some free wheeling at offense seems to be the fix...just keep playing the "A" game right to the end no matter the score!!

Well done. I was going to guess another great warrior, Arthur Fonzarelli.

I was just looking through MTL's previous results for 2018. The sad thing is, the 11 points they scored last night was a higher total than in three of their previous six games. This team is bad!

Most unusual stats from the big win over MTL:

QB Efficiency: Hamilton 104.38 Montreal Minus 6.75

Even though he didn't do much better than Manziel, before Adams entered the game, I hope there were at least a few smartass drunks chanting "We want Vernon!"

3rd qtr, score of 38-3, going for it on 3rd and 2 was kind of un- classy. :-[ :-[
