A couple of guys caught my eye - Knight, Augustine, and Ward.
Some good plays on both sides of the ball.
Woods III was in a sling in the second half. He was laughing and joking, so I hope it’s not too serious,

Our draft class really stood out. Veresuk, Bagnah, Marty, Hosseni and Bannatyne all made plays.
Knight looked good as an American rookie.
The Dline showed up.

This game could have been a blow out if Bo and Timmy connected on some of those deep balls.
I’m not worried though. This Offence has a lot of really good pieces. Even the O-Line looks like it will be good right out of the gate this season.

Between 10-14k i’d guess, its nice playing the blew team at home in the pre-season. Its always a meaningful game when we can best them…

Owen Hubert made at least two great plays too , pressure on QB and a DT late in the game . I noticed lawerence woods with a sling post game but he took it off prior to the autograph signing on the field so maybe just a stinger since i spotted him on the field without it

I don’t know about you guys but the defense did well in the first half 0 pts against but after Rewatching it this morning I noticed a lot of miss tackles

I was at the game too and wore my winter coat with toque and gloves so I was comfortable, but late may we should’ve been in shorts an t shirts. Either way it was fun to get back to football, did they announce the attendance?

Im still not, and don’t think I will ever be impressed with White. He makes too may mistakes and does not seem to be in the right place ever, misses too many catchable balls
Garbutt had a strong game I thought and Howsare also brought some pressure.
Knight was impressive at SAM, always around the ball and great at kick coverage- reminds me of Flowers-Lloyd almost always the first guy downfield. Might have had a stinger in the second half holding his arm after a tackle but seemed to be ok after being attended to on the field.
Running game in general was productive no matter who was in, including in the first half against some of their defensive starters.
Overall a good debut and reasonably entertaining for the first preseason game.

I was paying attention to Woodmansey at Centre, and honestly didn’t see anything worrying. I didn’t notice any bad snaps, Bo had lots of time in the pocket, etc. There will probably be SOME issues during the season, but I am fairly confident with him at a new position.
It was refreshing to see Monson call so many blitzes - we got to see more out of our LBs and HBs than in previous pre-season games.
I would like the team to move on from Woods III. IMHO he’s an average returner at best, and a poor DB overall. The years are getting long for a guy of his size and the pounding he takes on returns. He is likely not playing at a League-minimum contract, and that may come into play with the cap. Also, and I don’t really like labelling players like this, but he is rather injury-prone.

The coaching staff has been talking about a balanced offense and any time you can run for 187 yards at 7.8 yards per carry it definitely balances out that the passing game was only able to muster 132 yards on 29 attempts.

Agreed, if just one guy is running for 6+ yards a carry then he had a good night. If everyone is running at 6+ yards a pop then the OL had a great night.
