The only points that matter are

THE 2 POINTS FOR THE WIN!!!

It doesn’t matter how you win or by how much you won by

Now the next game is the most important game
Next up Montreal on a short week Friday

BTW
HOW ABOUT ANOTHER BLOCKED PUNT!
Incredible

Happy we won the games …you got to beat the bottom of the league…now onto the next game…defending Grey Cup champs-#1 in the league Alouettes…may not be pretty.

4 Ticats in the top 14 in TDs

Look at this, Bo as the best QB Comp %, VA has 138 Yard lead, Bo has the most TDs. The rest of the season to see these two Qbs go h2h will be interesting.

McKnight has been a huge difference maker for our special teams.

4 ticats in the top 15 of Rec Yards including Bridges who is almost in the top 5 for Yards as a rookie.

Good victory against a struggling team. The Tiger-Cats did what they were supposed to do. They certainly accomplished what we hoped they would accomplish on this road trip. All 3 phases of the team contributed to that victory.

And in a strange bit of twisted logic, that 4th Q could work to the Tiger-Cats’ advantage for the rematch with Edmonton on August 17th. In the 4th Q, we all witnessed how Tre Ford has had success in the past (incl. against Hamilton in the past), by going off-script, ad libbing, freelancing & generally succeeding with his legs & superior athleticism. Not sure if Ford will be named the starting QB, but the Elkimos have 2 tough games coming up versus Saskatchewan & BC. I truly hope they can win one of those.

And from the Ti-Cats perspective, they have their own tough opponents to worry about. The Ti-Cats have to shift focus from playing the worst team in the CFL, to playing arguably the best, the Montreal Alouettes, back to back. As Coach Milanovich said, it will be a good challenge; a good ā€œmeasuring stickā€ game.

I am not aware of Fajardo’s injury status, BUT the Tiger-Cats have already demonstrated that they are able to defeat a good football team that is missing its best QB.
We can only hope for a repeat performance !!

Justdewey… To answer your question… Fajardo was put on the 6 game. Here is the thing though. So if hes on the full 6 game he can come back after their Bye Week on Labour Day so his first game back would be September 6th at home vs. BC Lions so he will not be in either the away game vs Hamilton or the home game vs. Hamilton over the next 2 weeks. Now if they bring him back early he can come back as early as 4 weeks which is end of August vs. Edmonton. The chances are do you risk him getting injured again if you bring him back earlier or do you let him stay on there for the full 6 weeks.

For QB completion %, you appear to be comparing BLM with VAJ only. Below, he is only 6th out of 9 on Comp %.

While MTL won’t have Fajardo, the TiCats have next to no video on Alexander, who was impressive in their win over SSK.

EE fans cheering in the fourth quarter was a good thing for them and the league.
I am glad they scored some points on the board and with their remaining fans .
Also a bit shocked to see us dominate a game especially on the road .

Mr. Barrow and Mr Mosca would never allowed garbage time td’s like that they kick you when your down. We need that attitude back on the defense which with this crew will never happen.

No, I disagree.
You don’t give up 3 TDs in 10 minutes, no matter the lead.

I said this before, and I’ll say it again.
It looks to me like Ford will be the new starter moving forward.

If we play them again, we will get killed.

Last week vs Toronto our D gave up 10 points (and scored 7) through 55 minutes.

During the last 5 minutes, while up 16 points, our D gave up one TD drive and stopped the two point convert from making it a one score game.

A couple minutes later we gave up 7 more points, but that was against our special teams, not our defence.

When called on to protect a 3 point lead in the final minute our D made the stop and we won.

Last night our D gave up an opening drive FG and then nothing more until we led 41-8 (a FG off an INT in scoring range and two punt singles are not on our D)

After that they gave up 20 points in the garbagiest of garbage times and we won by 16.

Looking at what happened in the first 50-55 minutes the last two games (both wins!) is a tremendous improvement.

I don’t like the garbage time points, but they have that label for a reason. This is NOT the same defence we saw for the first 5 games, it’s vastly improved and a huge part of why we have two wins now.

Garbage time then add Washington and HAMs secondary to the mix. 3 tds sounds about right.

We game planned for MBT.
For 50 minutes we kept Edmonton to 8 points, no touchdowns and 85 yards passing.
We will game plan for Ford on August 17th.
If he kiils us in 3 weeks then we can be upset.

So you’re saying we can’t get upset about losing a game 3 weeks in advance?

Seems unreasonable.

Litre’s untimely fumble in garbage time when Powell was in at QB was disappointing and allowed Tre to put more points on the board

This right here.

Fans of good teams watch their team put the foot on the neck of the opponent. Fans of bad teams are happy with their team’s ā€œgarbage timeā€ let downs.

Ask yourself how the Ti-Cats have performed in their 4th quarters this season?
