We have found our kicker in Dante Brown.
Canadian, athletic and can punt and kick field goals, and seems to have a monster leg.

How come Burke suddenly has way more money to play with than Desjardins did in the last couple of years.
Maybe it takes a couple of 3 win seasons before the owners decide to "invest"?

Apparently he signed away almost half a roster of new talent from the other teams today . If my count is right his FA signings to date in Ottawa are at a whopping 15 new players and counting . I don't know but if that is not a record for FA signings in a single day then it's got to be close to it I would think .
Meanwhile I heard that our GM's were pooling all their pocket change to see if they had enough for lunch at KFC seeing as it was Toonie Tuesday .

The Cats are a victim of their own mediocrity. Not elite but competitive enough to keep the fanbase engaged. If butts are filling THF then what appetite is there to sign the next Rocket Ismail?

Well teams that suck have way more incentive to do that. I haven't seen the numbers for the Bombers but I don't think they were really active either. Overall the Cats have retained some key guys that are the leaders on this team. Dane, Adeleke, Simoni, Wynne and so on. The core is still intact.
I'm trying to be optimistic that whatever holes are left on this team will be addressed by the scouting team. There's probably some players out there that we've never heard of who will have there own thread on here by August.
