...couldn't stay out of the game for long...
...according to Doug Brown, Obby first called Mack to see if he still had a home in the 'Peg, guess Mack didn't think so...http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports ... 82836.html
You can never have enough experienced NI Olinesmen. Smart move considering the shortage six weeks in.
Wish him all the best, awesome team guy. But, he has had a home/family here for years, and will continue to regardless of what Mack does.
...I obviously meant 'home' in the colloquial sense refering to his old team
Stamps need the depth. Everyone does. They also need leadership, which the big guy can certainly provide. And true, Obby Khan is one of the best comeback stories around, and who doesn't love that about him? But I'm wondering if his best-before date has already expired. Maybe it's time to just focus on that restaurant he's planning in the 'peg.
...very true KP2, depth and wisdom...the Calgary Oline is decent when it's firing on all cylinders, but it's also young and having an aged veteran around, even if he doesn't play much will help that line out immensely...the Brown article noted that his restaurant doesn't open until December sometime, hopefully he has family helping him out there because he's going to be pretty busy up to Monday November 26th....
Winnipeg didn't need him because we have a terrific O-line without him. Oh, wait, forgot we were 1-5.
"...busy up to Monday November 26th..."
Oooh that's smooth RedandWhite ... real smooth!
