Ken Kasuya

RIP Kato. People like him, quietly in the background that make football happen.

Looking at the reaction of players, fans, journalists and media.
He touched and had the respect of a lot of people.

He started as the BC Lions ball boy/water boy when he was 13 years old 40 years ago!

A mainstay on the B.C. sideline, as familiar a face as any in the CFL.

A lossto theLeague.

Kato’s passing has been a trending topic and quite notworthy here in Van. Global TV did a wonderful tribute to him last night. Interviewed a lot of former players for the piece (including Bomber Adam Bighill who resides here in the off-season); it was really well done.

I had the pleasure of interacting with him on a number of occassions. He was a real prince of a guy.

Yes, I’m sorry to hear of this. I remember seeing him on the sidelines during TV broadcasts throughout the years. Condolences to his family and friends
