Sure sticky fingered DaVaris Daniels and mountain man A. J. Ouellette had awesome games but I guess we all know which player the Argos absolutely cannot do without.
It’s NOT Cameron Dukes. Not yet anyway. Last week he put up a measly 63 passing yards in a losing effort against the mighty Stamps (which as it turns out are kinda meh-ty). It was Franchise QB Chad Kelly who put up 417 passing yards today (and we’re starting to expect those numbers from him now) to hold back the surging Red Blacks.
Anyway, congrats to the Argos. As long as Kelly’s behind center they’re the Beasts of the East.
But Ottawa’s no slouch either. Not any more. Newcomer Dustin Crum is getting better and better and by the time Oct 14th rolls around none of us will be one bit surprised to see Ottawa take Toronto to the woodshed. It’s going to be a battle.
Yuppers, Crum seems to be on the upswing with his passing game. Too bad he doesn’t have receivers equal to BB or BCs. As I expected his running can’t be his primary weapon & thats coming true. Nice to have that ability but throwing wins games most often. A work in progress, but gets my passing grade easily.
