K Swayze Waters out 4-6 weeks

Toronto Int. K Swayze Waters is out for 4 to 6 weeks. I wonder who will replace him during this period. Nat. Paul McCallum released by BC in early June? Int. K Drew Basil released by Montreal after training camp? Certainly the players will be considered.

I don't recall a beginning of CFL season with so many injuries to key players; hence, QB's Jonathan Crompton and Dan LeFevour in Montreal, QB Darian Durant in Saskatchewan,along with LB Shea Emry and S McDougall, QB Mike Reilly in Edmonton. Should definitely have a negative impact on these teams.

Waters seems to be injured 2-3 times a season.

O’Neill to Hamilton, McCallum to Riders. Both clubs technically have needs even if not that urgent. Perhaps the injury to Swayze made those needs more urgent?

And the Argos signed Pfeffer who was cut by Ottawa a few weeks ago

This will be a huge loss for us, as Waters may be the most valuable player on the team.
