June 7th Open House

Wow Earl you came well Glad you did

We are going to some games even if I have to drag my sometimes boring wife out.

I slept in so by the time I got down to the stadium on my bike the players were long gone. I did take a bunch of pictures that you can view at this link -

Here are some of the shots from that album (but they do get cut-off here so better to go to the link).

Yes you can get a Tim Horton's coffee

The view of the west stands from standing at centre field

That ugly building a.k.a. Scott Park is coming down.

The little black pellets that are embedded in the field by the thousands.

If you look closely you can see just how many pellets are embedded

Players' view coming out of the tunnel

This is what I would call a badly obstructed view. I took this picture from a seated position in one of the seats on the Upper West Stands

Another view obstructed by the railings on the Upper West side

View from the last row of the Upper West side - 183 stairs up from Cannon Street (if my count was correct).

Another view from the top

The requisite selfie at the centre field logo

It was good to see and talk to former 'Cat Lamar McGriggs. What a character!!! The guy looks like he could slap on the helmet and pads and play tomorrow night. The only bad thing I witnessed at the event was Banshee causing her usual trouble.

Thanks for the pics TP/Grover.. 183 stairs?!?

hope you put some sunscreen on that dome :stuck_out_tongue:

Second that, thanks for those pics guys. What a fantastic venue to include in the inner city!!

Excellent pictures Pat. You definitely caught the atmosphere of the event.

By the time I remembered what day it was most of the festivities would have been over (and I am NOT a country music fan) so I did not attend. I will definitely be there tomorrow night though - come rain or shine.

:rockin: :rockin: :rockin:

LIES!! As usual, I was a model citizen. It was so great seeing Lamar! He does look great and he's such a sweetheart.

I brought my daughters and they enjoyed it. My oldest took some pics with Beau Landry (swoon lol) and my youngest got one with Bryan Hall. Both very nice guys. Hall is absolutely adorable. Like a kid at Christmas.
