This is the award that is presented to the Canadian athlete of the year. Congrats to Jon.
I've always found having two "Athlete of the Year" awards for men, and two for women kind of bizarre (sort of like have two football teams with the same name). So Cornish wins the Marsh award for "Athlete of the Year" and Raonic wins the Lionel Conacher award for male "Athlete of the Year." They both had a great year, obviously. :lol:
Edit: Several have won both in the same year, including Joe Krol and Russ Jackson.
