JOIN THE HAMILTON MINOR FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
For those of you that have children or
other family members between the ages
of 11 and 13 and would like them to play football, the Hamilton Minor
Football Association (HMFA) Atom Eskimos are looking for players to fill out
the roster for the 2008 Season, which begins in September.
The league has three age groups, and weight maximums for the Atom level
player to meet (child must be at or below the weight maximum by September 7,
2008):
11 as of September 1st- Weight Max-150 lbs
12 as of September 1st- Weight Max-150 lbs
13 as of December 31st- Weight Max-115 lbs
The earlier the decision to join the better, as once 34 roster spots are
filled there will be no further registrations accepted.
The league has designated teams depending on the address of the child, and
if you would like to play for the Eskimos you must reside in the lower city
West of Ottawa Street. Exceptions may be made if teams in other areas have
full rosters, in which case the boundary rules are not enforced.

Minimum of 10 Games (up to 2 possibly at Ivor Wynne Stadium)
The cost to join is $250 and both the parent/guardian and the child must be
present when registering, and must also bring along a copy of the child's
Birth Certificate and Health Card.
For a practice and regular season span of over 5 months, your child can
take the initial step towards being the next Jesse Lumsden, Nautyn McKay-Loescher, Marwan Hage or Cedric Gagne-Marcoux, all top draft picks by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
