Neil Lumsden is running an Eskimo tryout camp
right in the Tiger Cats backyard folks.

P.S.

It's held in Burlington, Marcel, at Sherwood Forest Park.

It's open to the public, Do you have any good disguises?

Maybe we can rob from the rich and give to the poor.

i think its a cash grab. 80 dollars to try out. thats a joke. 40 dollars maybe tops but 80 seems to be covering off the fees for lumsden to run this thing. waste of time in my opinnion. usually they already have a couple players they want to see. they dont charge them....jam all the other hopefuls who dont have a snowballs chance and dash off with the cash. almost criminal in my opinnion.

Marcel is in florida for the Cat's open tryouts. I wonder where you can find better players - Florida or Burlington? lol.

well i know you ll find better canadians in burlington and thats what the camp is for.

You always need Canadian talent but we really lack in American talent at key positions like WR and Safety. I thought the same thing about the linebacker position but I think we have some good players to compete there.

The Cats would've found kicker Sandro DeAngelis had they had a local tryout a couple of years ago. They would've been set for the next 10 years at place kicker but nooooo.......

You can't find them if you can't have a look at them.

Maybe Hamilton should scour courtrooms and prisons for players like the Argos? Man, I wish Desjardins was as smart as Rita and Mohns!

I think it's easily worth $47.50.

I don't know, I've heard that Florida is swamped with lots of Canucks during this time of the year.

Yeah, but those 80 year old wide-outs have a bit of trouble getting downfield in under three minutes.

An Argo-Cat fan ------------ You Cant be a argo-cat fan!!! ITS TIGER CATS dumb dumb-- These players trying out have every right to dream, and at 80$ a player undrafted at least can get looked at, IMO there is a need for better Canadian content developement in the eastern division

So Yesterday I Went to Watch The Eskimo Tryouts
here in Burlington .. They have Bad Turn out only 30 People Very Avg Players too..

They had last years Ticats OC Joe P Helping out

Quite right Barney!

I believe I've read that we did have DeAngelis in our camp for a try out and we deemed him not good enough....cough ....cough.......aheeemmm....those who deemed him NGE are now gone....

They missed a beaut!....can we sue "them" for lack of brains?

:cowboy:

You are partially correct...He was deemed not good enough by the Ticats' former Special Teams coach without even been given a tryout. Upon graduating from Nebraska, Sandro, a Ticat fan from childhood, called the coach and asked for a chance to try out and was told "No thanks". Some will say that this was warranted due to a less than stellar collegiate career but in retrospect, it would have cost them nothing to have a look...As it turned out, however, it cost them quite a lot!

Which coach was this? Jerome "I did nothing for three years as a Ticat special teams coach but got paid for it anyway" Erdman?

That's the one!
