OTTAWA — Jeremiah Masoli will get the start on Thursday when the Ottawa REDBLACKS travel to Calgary to face the Stampeders.

Great to know Jeremiah Masoli will be back playing, good luck moving forward Mr. Masoli. On another note, who will entice Nathan Rourke back to the CFL with a player contract he can’t refuse🤔, if Rourke comes back to Canada watch for a quarterback carousel of qb’s switching teams starting with Bo Levi Mitchell and maybe Vernon Adams Jr. The Saskatchewan Roughriders sure could use a competent quarterback at the controls if the want to win a CFL Grey Cuo Championship.

True… but let’s not forget the ‘other’ former starting quarterback in Ottawa’s bullpen who’s ready to play - Tyrie Adams. I’ll bet he gets elevated to 3rd string for Thursday’s game against Calgary. He might even get on the field if Crumb falls flat on his face. Adams is a dual threat who throws a pretty good ball. He might surprise everyone.
Funny you mention Adams. I too like him a lot. He did good things on the field last year before injuries derailed his season. If Masoli struggles, I’d honestly turn to Adams before Crum, who at this point is a known (poor) entity.
Ya me too. Adams has way more upside and if he’s fully healed I’d play him ahead of Crum any day.
Hope Jeremiah does well. I was sorry to see him leave Hamilton. What does this ay about Ottawa. Is Dru hurt badly ?
does Crum need coaching /maturity ? I think he will do well .I still hope Natahn gets a fair NFL shot. I do no think that has happened yet
I think that everyone not named Marino is hoping that Jeremiah does well.
Dru was sporting a walking boot on the sidelines. Supposedly he has a sprained ankle which could take weeks to properly heal. We’ll know more in the coming days.
Rourke was released today from the Falcons so that might be it for his NFL aspirations (realistically speaking).
Crazy number and severity of QB injuries this year. Not good for the league.
At least we get to see some of the new talent step up and show us their stuff.
I remember being in Guelph one day when Henry Burris was the starting QB and Jeremiah Masoli was 3rd string for the Ticats. The 3 QB’s were testing their arm strength on how far they could throw the football, Masoli could throw the ball twice as far as the 2 Ticat QB’s. So this is an important note for RedBlack receivers, you cannot overrun a route with Masoli at QB. He has Josh Allen arm strength…
I don’t think it’s more than any other season really. They do follow a theme though. (numbers through week 10)
Dukes, Brown, Harris, and VA were all hurt in contact plays. When Harris was hurt - his team led the sacks allowed through a bye week in week 4.
Fajardo 's was a non contact injury - but happened while rolling out to avoid pressure.
I truly hope the injury prone Jeremiah Masoli can reignite his very up and down career. He showed tremendous leadership with the Hamilton Tiger Cats which seemed like many years ago-LOL 
The Calgary Stampeders 2024 edition continue to find new ways to loose. 
With a mere Buck 24 remaining on the game clock. They could not make a first down if their “Life depended on it” sound familiar 
This game ended dramatically with a walk off 51 yard field goal from Redblacks kicker Lewis Ward. Noteworthy was the replay booth put back “2 tics” on the clock after it appeared the game had ended.
The good news is for all those loyal Stamps fans is the Stamps only trail the Riders by 3 points for first place after 9 games
