Hunt will stay on Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group's board
Ottawa businessman Jeff Hunt, one of the key figures in revitalizing Lansdowne Park and bringing the CFL back to Ottawa, will step aside as Redblacks president at the end of the year.
He'll stay involved as a member of OSEG's board, an alternate governor for the Redblacks and governor for the 67's.
I agree Jeff is a great guy, wildly successful and the face of the RB during the expansion phase.
Having said that, I heard the one interview he was asked about the possibility of doing the same with the new Halifax team.
Although eventually ruling it out, it was not an instant reply though?
Me thinks there could be something there.
