The Latest from the B.C. Lions
The loss of Korey Banks, Sebastian Clovis, Mark Washington and cornerback Dante Marsh, who was placed on the nine-game injury list last week, meant that only halfback Ryan Phillips lined up at his usual position in the secondary against Calgary. - Vancouver Sun
Buck Pierce is expected to rest his "sprained toe" and play second to Jarious Jackson during Thursday's tilt against the Riders. - CKNW Radio
I suspect this move is about the way Jarious moved the team and played. Not so much about the injury to Pierce.
If RLR was quoting the noon sports, I beleive Wally said there was no point in rushing Pierce back. I had water running and didn't hear the whole interview.
Pierce is injured, turf toe and his ribs are still very sore. If Pierce was healthy he would start.
I don't know about that Roar, from afar and in seeing all of the games, Jurius has been much better then Bucky this year.
Is that because Bucky has been playing injured, maybe? But and before his injury JJ was the more productive QB.
Heres a funny thing. I beleive last year,(Maybe 2005) JJ earned the backup roll and Pierce the #3 spot at training camp. As the season went on Pierce Out performed JJ.
