JaMarcus Russell

JaMarcus Russell, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft who hasn't played since 2009, said he will "play for free" if a team gives him another chance. - http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15384038/jamarcus-russell-says-play-free-just-wants-another-chance

This would be a typical Popp signing.

If Russell is semi-serious about "for free" the contract could be for low dollars. This guy had ALL the physical tools, so if he happens (Lotto 6/49-ish probability) to have his head together and his dedication "back" (don't know that he ever had it) it would be a home run, and if not it is just peek under the hood to check the engine.

No.

This is not the season to turn the locker Room into a refuge.

[i]Johnny would rather wait to get Johnny Manziel!

Seriously, the only people in Montreal who would love Manziel, are the bar owners on Crescent Street...

But if Johnny knucklehead does come to Montreal (please Popp, don't do it), do not rent him your house or an apartment:

What a dimwit!

Wasn't suggesting it, just when I read the story yesterday it struck me that it would be a Popp move.

Je l’ai compris comme ça.

The last I heard he was on Hamilton's neg list, but that was about 4-5 years ago.

the Kardashian of the football world is a Single child of a billionaire father. He's not going to sign a contract to play for 75 000.00. Can anyone picture this guy loose downtown Montreal
