It's not over "Yet"

Absolutely outstanding analysis with that pick Discipline. At least the Eskies made some of the right moves, perhaps watching more film for all I know, to re-set that woeful defence especially against the run and to make the quarterback have to hurry more.

Now they can rebuild from here and just not throw pick 6s on offence to win more games.

Well, I’m glad I was right this one time. Doesn’t really compensate for the 101 other times I’m wrong, but I’ll take it.

Edmonton did just enough to win, thanks to a good Hall decision to reinsert Ray into the game when it was clear that Zabransky was unable to move the ball through the air. Edmonton’s D played like beasts after a poor first quarter, really limiting the yards on the ground and containing Durant on the scramble. Special teams came up with a huge block to set up the Esks’ only major of the game, and most importantly, the team managed to overcome a lot of adversity – the second Edmonton INT could easily have been a back-breaker, but they stayed focused and hung around long enough for Prefontaine to work his fourth-quarter magic.

How prophetic was that post! Major points for that pick discipline!

I was impressed that even when Edmonton rushed only three and dropped the rest back into coverage, they still generated good pressure.

I really felt for Ray. He threw to a spot, not to a receiver, and it wasn't his fault that Campbell ran the wrong route, turning in when he should have curled out. And it isn't the first time this season Campbell's gaffe running a route has led to a pick-six against Edmonton.

It's not over for Danny Maciocia.

Good for him. Hopefully he can do for them what he failed to do for us.

Here's food for thought. Trade in the works, stay tuned.

The rumour may server to light a fire under the current O line, if nothing else.

Is it over "now"?

Was thinking the same thing, Artie...

Like John Candy said, this thing has to be blown up real good.
It's over for this year.
If you guys were smart bring in ET right away and have him evaluate from top to bottom.
How about Danny Barrett as the HC?

Even Jesus couldn't resurrect this team . What a Disgrace.

There I was not watching the game again due to errands and hoping not watching would bring luck again, but apparently that does not work when we play Calgary because we get massacred.

Maybe I will watch then next week to break that jinx, or at least I will find out what a waste of time it is?

Praise Jesus indeed, but wow apparently after Jesus heard the prayers for resurrecting the Eskies after that performance to include six turnovers, well it appears he decided just to take the night off and have himself a good time:

The jury "YET" is still not out for one of these three teams; Lion's, Eskimo's, Bluebombers. The B.C Lion's/Winnipeg back to back games will tell one story. As for the Eskimo's; win/lose in Moncton is one thing, but they lose to Hamilton on October 3rd at Commonwealth, it's a sealed and done deal. I hope they prove me wrong. :expressionless:

Yes, one of those three teams has to make the playoffs, but none of them will win a playoff game.

Not that I disagree, but they did say the same thing about the '89 'riders… there was no way they were going to beat the 16-2 Esks… simply no way at all. …sigh…

At least you have a shot and it keeps your fans in to the season.

The 89 Riders were a hell of a lot better than the 2010 Eskimos. At least that team could put points on the board. Obviously anything can happen, but after the last two ass kickings the Stamps have given us, I just don't see it happening.

Well the trade rumour I posted earlier in this thread went down.

I just realized Jesus is a Stamps fan.
