It has never been easier to get to a Hamilton Tiger-Cats game.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are launching a pilot project this season that will see fans shuttled from surrounding communities to select home games during the Final Season of Ivor Wynne Stadium presented by Tim Hortons.

Sun Media has partnered with the Tiger-Cats to provide highway coaches that will depart from Ancaster, Brantford, Burlington, Grimsby, Kitchener and St. Catharines, and deliver fans directly to Ivor Wynne Stadium in time for Friday’s season opening 7 p.m. kickoff against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Fans in possession of tickets for this game can board for free, subject to pre-registration and availability. Complete details, including a full schedule and pre-registration form are available at ticats.ca/fanshuttles. The shuttles are scheduled to arrive approximately 45 minutes before kickoff, and will depart 30 minutes following the game for the return trip.

Participating RONA pickup locations will be holding Tiger-Cats tailgate parties from 2-5 p.m. prior to the shuttle departures.

This will be the inaugural run of these shuttles, in a service to be repeated on Labour Day, and the final home regular season game at Ivor Wynne Stadium on October 27.

The Tiger-Cats wish to thank Sun Media, RONA and Coach Canada for their assistance with this program.
