It's like Christmas, for sports fans...

With the best time of year for CFL football, and the new more interesting NHL upon us. I find it hard to make time for my little lady, she actually wanted to go for one of those romantic walk's last night. I looked at her and said what about the Hockey, Football match up on the television and besides we can't leave those six guy's alone in our basement drinking beer, there won't be any left for me when I get back. I guess the Tank has to manage his sport watching better, no world series or NFL for this guy untill the little lady cools down, any suggestions will be appreciated.

.... ALSO BASEBALL PLAYOFFS!!!! THIS IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR- FOOTBALL, NEW HOCKEY SEASON, wORLD SERIES- EVEN NBA PRE-SEASON IF YOUR INTO BASKETBALL AND STEVE NASH (MVP --- FROM CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I LIKE THE BEER COMMERCIAL WITH THE GUY IN THE HOCKEY MASK A LA NIGHMARE ON ELM STREET WATCHING THE YOUNG LASS IN TIGHT SHORTS AND T-SHIRT- THEN SHE SEES HIM AND SAYS SOMETHING LIKE--- OH YEAH ITS HOCKEY SEASON AGAIN! i GUESS YOU HAVE TO MARRY SOMEONE LIKE SASKARGO!!!!!!!!!!!

CFL RULES
RIDER PRIDE NATION WIDE!!

Funny thing, hank - can't give you much advice. We don't seem to have that problem here in our house.....

lucky you..do you have an extra room, might be looking for a place to stay. jm02.

As a matter of fact, I do.....room and board will be minimal, but you'll have to be a Riders fan. Otherwise, no deal.

How about a very large sum of money for room and board, I have lot's of cash, but I'm broke in the Rider Pride department. Will wash dishes, and toilet's before cheering for the Rider's...lol

Hmmm…money…large sum…I’m listening…

…if you do toilets and dishes, that means I don’t have to…this deal’s getting better all the time…

Well may be I don't have lot's of cash, but I can wash dishes and toilets...since I'm moving in we can dress up the upstairs in Blue and Gold, and you can pick any other room, for an all Green setting.

Yeah, deal's going downhill fast here. If you don't watch yourself I'll move my daughters out of the Winnie-the-Pooh room and you can sleep in there.....They can have the guest room instead.....

Winnie the poo eh…to funny…well I guess we have the gold going on…lol…you see I just talked my way out of the Guest room, at this rate I’ll be dressing up the garage…lol

.....an UNHEATED garage.....have fun in there..... If my hubby does the wrong thing, he can meet you there.....at least you'll have company.....

you do release that Winnie the Pooh and his crew are pround resisdents of Manitoba, right?

Turk, you like baseball, damn man, you are fuck ed up! j/k

if Nash is Canadian, he should be playing for the Raptors, what an idoit.

Actually KK, you're only partly right. The actual bear, Winnie - named after Winnipeg - was so named by a person from Winnipeg. The author of the Winnie the Pooh books is actually from Britain, if I recall correctly. Credit is usually given to Winnipeg, however, which doesn't bother me one bit.

By the way, who cares where he's from? Not me - my daughters' room is decorated in that style. The fact that he's credited with being from Winnipeg is secondary. Doesn't make me a Bombers fan.

Baseball? Time to see the Yankees get beat, which will happen sometime within the next several hours...

no, but it may make your daughter one! a Jets fan too!

I'm sure that their are places in Manitoba and/or Winnipeg named after the chariters. I'd love to go to Tigger, Manitoba! wouldn't you?

has anyone seen that Red Dawaf epision where Winnie the pooh gets shot??? lol that is just so wrong! LMAO

The CBC had a pretty good movie about Winnie a few months back

During the first World War troops from Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada) were being transported to eastern Canada, on their way overseas to Europe where they should join the 2nd Canadian Infantry Brigade. When the train stopped at White River, Ontario, a lieutenant called Harry Colebourn bought a small female black bear cub for $20 from a hunter who had killed its mother. He named her 'Winnipeg', after his hometown of Winnipeg, or 'Winnie' for short.

Winnie became the mascot of the Brigade and went to Britain with the unit. When the Brigade was posted to the battlefields of France, Lt. Colebourn took Winnie to the London Zoo for a long loan. Formally Colebourn presented the London Zoo with Winnie in December 1919 where it became a popular attraction and lived until 1934.

The bear was also very popular by Christopher Robin, son of author A.A. Milne. It was his favorite at the zoo, and he often spent time inside the cage with it. The bear was Christopher Robin's inspiration for calling his own teddy bear Winnie.... Winnie the Pooh

The only thing I'm into right now is...

CFL Football
NFL (Atlanta Falcons, go Black and Red!)
NBA (Go Lakers! Damn Steve Nash! Go Kobe Bryant!)

Yes, Kobe Bryant is my favorite basketball player.

GO ESKIMOS! BEAT THE ARGOS DAMNIT!

Great story, makes me prod that I’m a Bomber/Jets fan!
