I already have my tickets I’m just curious.
The first day of Grey Cup ticket sales to the general public was “outstanding,” according to Winnipeg Blue Bombers president and CEO Lyle Bauer.
The tickets to this year’s CFL championship game, which is being played at Canad Inns Stadium on Nov. 19, became available to the general public yesterday morning at 10 o’clock.
Bauer reported last night that “several thousand seats were sold, and they are still processing orders.”
Does anyone know whether the BB will increase capacity from the 45,000 current which includes the portable seats in the one end zone. If the sales continue and sellout quickly, any thought to go to 50,000?
Great news...good job Drumming...If anybody is thinking of going...
Hotels around the stadium, are mostly all booked for the wknd...
Still rooms left at the Sheriton and Howard Johnson hotels...
If you stay at the Howard Johnson..bring a gun...you might need it...lol
I'm willing to bet that the HoJo in Winnipeg was still better than the hotels I was put up in when I was there...The Curtis and the St. Regis! And let's not forget the time I stayed at the Empire in Regina!
They have only been on sale to the general population for a day.
They have a while before they have to think about extra seating
I don't care about Hotels close to the stadium, I can get a cab or a bus to the game. Its being close to the Parties and festivities that really count.
all i have to do is take a car if i would walk but i would be walking for the east of winnipeg to the west that would suck
I have my end zone tickets and have reservations for Super 8 - Winnipeg West.
See you there!
