Perhaps I missed it somewhere, but haven't read or heard anything about the retirement of the team's 2nd pick, 13th overall, in the 2011 Draft. Maurice Forbes was registered with the league as retired prior to the June 13th pre-season game. The previous week, two rookie imports -- WR Galatas and DE Drummond -- became the first registered retirees from training camp after reportedly deciding to leave on their own.
The team retired them so they can keep their rights.

He's not listed on the roster anymore. That sucks I like the kid. I saw him get banged up in practice I wonder if that had something to do with it. I haven't seen any news of this anywhere though.
