Can someone clarify something for me. A hypothetical player is on the 9 game IR until August 14. On the transactions page it says that the player is extended on the IR until August 21 and then is extended again until August 28. Is this player still considered to be on the 9 game IR or is he off the 9 game and now considered on the 1 game IR for salary cap and exemption purposes ?

I may be wrong but I think he would be classified as on the 9 game until Aug 14th, and then his salary would count again if he was just on the 1 game injured.
