this is my favourite oatmeal stout of all time, micro-brewed in quebec - St Ambroise Oatmeal Stout. it’s not heavy at all despite being dark. unfortunately it’s not always easy to get here on the west coast.
I’ll have to try that one. If you haven’t you should try the ones below.

I finally snuck off to the LCBO this afternoon to buy my Wellington barrel-aged stout set, and on the same shelf that had a set of St-Amroise dark beers. The Oatmeal Stout, a Milk Stout I think, a dark IPA, and a Baltic Porter. I didn’t buy it, but I’m very tempted by the Baltic Porter.

Lots of Christmas packs come out with these specialty type beers. Saw a few advent calendars the past few years.
oh that looks so good. their oatmeal stout is one of the few beers that i can drink more than one at a time
