International Stout Day

this is my favourite oatmeal stout of all time, micro-brewed in quebec - St Ambroise Oatmeal Stout. it’s not heavy at all despite being dark. unfortunately it’s not always easy to get here on the west coast.

It's been years but I just had to find the Dos Equis ads. Some of my favourites:

I finally snuck off to the LCBO this afternoon to buy my Wellington barrel-aged stout set, and on the same shelf that had a set of St-Amroise dark beers. The Oatmeal Stout, a Milk Stout I think, a dark IPA, and a Baltic Porter. I didn’t buy it, but I’m very tempted by the Baltic Porter.

Lots of Christmas packs come out with these specialty type beers. Saw a few advent calendars the past few years.

oh that looks so good. their oatmeal stout is one of the few beers that i can drink more than one at a time :grin::beer::beer:
