I LOVED that play. Never used today because it’s drilled into coaches to never give up an offensive play but when you’re deep in your own territory with a kicker trained for a low driving punt that keeps bouncing forward nicely… you just might give up a play to ‘gain’ 30 extra yards.

What about another "Canadian play" like a pass to Fantuz or Stala and then they punt the ball downfield .

I recall a quick kick that Masoli executed in Winnipeg probably in 2018. One of the receivers or a running back was onside and recovered about 30 yards downfield. Thing of beauty.
