.....LOOK.....if the leos can take back Printers after Wally ( the winningest coach in the CFL) told him never to show his face around B.C. Place ....i guess we can take back Barrin....
.....Simpson is ready to go.....rested his turf toe and his ego...probably will start on Mon.......Even with one foot ,Barrin is better than anything the Cats have...GOBIGBLUE  :rockin: :rockin:
Not so fast there papa; I think Hamilton’s LB corps of Johnson, Floyd, and Knowlton compares rather competitively with yours of Charlton, Lobendahn~Simpson and Shabazz. Probably the best 2 linebacking corps in the league at the moment.
I think you get a big edge on the D line however, which sure helps your LBs a lot more than Hamilton’s D line helps their LBs. . .
…yes …but MadJack…Simpson had the bad toe…and was leading the league in tackles…Even now, i think he;s right up there in the tackle dept…Did the cats have anyone leading in that dept. this year…can’t recall…In any event if Barrin has checked his ego at the door …we should have a hard-hitting match come’turkey day’…
according to reports…The Barrin looked pretty good in practice today… relaxed and joking… … I think Simpson will be eager to close the gap between him and Jamal a little come Mon.
…nobody ever said Simpson wasn’t a great linebacker…i think a few of us have had trouble with his attitude of late…He seems prepared to put that to rest and play football…which is NOT good news for you
If you take Simpson at his word, he refused to share reps because he felt that the reason for this was “looking at next year”. Well the bombers won 2 games since and are actually in better shape so obviously Simpson was wrong or at the very least he understands that this year is still very much in play.
IE: Kelly was proven right in the fact that he was not asking Simpson to split reps because he considered the season over but because he felt it would improve their defense. Simpson being honnest would recognise that. Or maybe it’s just helps out both parties right now because of injuries…that’s plausible.
good point… as long as simpson is now willing to play, and the team is willing to let him back then this works out parties…hopefully we can continue moving forward… lots of ball left
Okay…now I understand where you’re coming from…certainly both are plausible…and we’ll likely never know the whole story…but I’m leaning toward the former being correct…if only because Simpson didn’t manage to get himself traded.
......Barrin went to see his ailing father..... he had some retrospect on what was presently going on his life....seemed to put things in a different light for him....Will this revelation help all concerned.....Guess we'll have to wait and see...
Joe Lobendahn out with injury and Simpson might be his replacement, looks like Gavin Walls might also be out? still think the Bomber defence is not banged up, still believe this is the only reason they asked him to come back
