Keeping the short-side defensive end healthy is proving to be a challenge for the Roughriders.
Stevie Baggs, the fourth player to start at the Riders at that position, suffered an injury to the medial collateral ligament to his right knee on Sunday. John Chick, who was the starter when the season began, suffered a knee injury and a compound fracture to the ring finger on his right hand before missing Sunday's game with a shoulder injury.
Dek Bake, who started three games, is sidelined with a foot injury. Seante Williams has made four starts and missed time with a hamstring injury.
Baggs, who was making his third start, was told that he would be sidelined four to six weeks.
"I'll be back in two,'' Baggs predicted.
