I'm Surprised

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the great game played by Wayne Smith. He filled in for Jiminez at right tackle in the first quarter. His run and pass blocking was great. Normally when a starter goes down with an injury, the replacement is of lesser ability. Not so with Smith! Depending on how long Jimenez is out, Smith can be our guy at right tackle. This would give Marcel some flexibility with the ratio. Or he just might plug Simmons in there and allow Smith to return to his valuable backup duties. I love this team's depth!

Pat Lynch(the old guy)

Always have been a fan of Wayne's, Pat bad luck with injuries but was very disappointed when they traded him to Sask, is one of the the best blockers in the league. I sure hope he stays healthy.

Agreed, I know Wayne was glad to get his teeth back into the competition. Ironically, he was put in against former teamates.
Wayne's a great player on the field and great guy off the field.

Wayne did a GREAT JOB and I hope he stays healthy.

It great having Wayne back

Welcome back

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've hot him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

We never should traded Wayne

8) Pat, I would go with Wayne Smith if Jimenez is not able to play this Friday.
Definitely not Simmons. He was taken to school by the DLineman in the Edmonton game, and was less than stellar.

That is the reason that Marcel put in Belton Johnson for the Sask. game. As was hoped for, Belton did an admirable job.

Wayne was stellar in backing up at RT. No question that if healthy Wayne can be a factor in providing depth throughout the OL!

Oski Wee Wee,
