If you were the GM, would you release Buck Pierce?

…maybe you don’t need Buck BUT IF Durant ever goes down…i’d say you’re looking pretty thin in the qb. dept. …You better pray your no 1 stays healthy…

lol, man, rider fans are no different than bomber fans, the backup will be god until he plays a meaningful game, pre-season? lol, who cares, congrats he completed passes against people who arent in the league anymore. Like man, i get the enthusiasm, i understand the wanting to believe but b4 saying he’s gonna be a “star on the rise”, maybe see what he does against you know, guys who arent working at walmart right now.

I would definetely not bring him back for next season or start him again this season but I think I may wait until the end of the season before i would make that decision. He could really be an excellent change of pace back up QB. in a game where your Offense is just stalled and the game plan is not working he could possibily come in and do somehting crazy to pull of a win but it would be right back to the Bench.
I do not think that he would be confortable with that role with the bombers but somewhere else he may. H e just does not have the stamina for a starting QB but could be a valued back up.
Unless they need to open up some cap space for some signing this season I would wait until after the season to release him at least.

If Brink keeps playing well, it will make Buck easier to release. The Bombers are not paying Buck to back up. He would be released out right and Elliot would back up. If Brink struggles against Montreal, Buck will be starting vs Hamilton or the game after for sure.
