Id like to see Porter have his turn next week.

Feild it exactly the same and crush the Argos again.

To me it wouldn't matter which one of the two plays Friday, but I think that whoever you choose should be your starting QB for the rest of the season, otherwise this QB controversey will just become more and more of a distraction.

Glen Managed the Game well no Turnovers
We did leave too many points on Field
so that has to be Cleaned up but he should start in the Rematch
If he can't move the Ball then Give Q a Shot.

Are you crazy!!! They won going away and you want to change Qbs? With their next game against the same team they just beat? It looks like the guys want to get behind Glenn so I hope they start him again...and again...and again.

An Argo-Cat fan

I have no complaints about Glenn's play.He much more decisive than Porter. It would be nice if Porter could get some more experience. He adds something that Glenn can't provide and that is the ability to run the ball.

I have been very unimpressed with Glenn. I don’t think he’s taking the opportunity he’s been handed and made it impossible to go back to Porter when he’s healthy. Face it, Toronto’s 5 turnovers won the game for the Ticats not the offense. Last game the points left on the board and inconsistant 2nd half by all three disciplines cost us a game we should have walked away with. 2 games ago our offense made only 2 or 3 big plays which got us back into the game, but mostly sputtered even after Glenn and company made half time adjustments. From a veteran QB I expect consistancy. Glenn has been anything but. Yesterday we won IN SPITE OF the offense. Some of it lies with the playcalling but mostly its poor execution on everyone’s part, including Glenn. If thats what we are going to get, bring in Porter as soon as he can play to continue his development process. We won’t be worse off this season but next year we’ll be much further ahead

Say what?

Glenn pretty consistently put together drives which resulted in points. We had no running game (one thing that Porter has benefitted from) and still managed to score over 30. The real problem is that we continued to call goal line running plays even though the Argos had stuffed the run all game and that our O-Line didn't open up the holes for Cobb to be successful. Secondly, Prechae Rodriguez in the end zone needs to work on his timing and getting some separation. It's clear the jump ball isn't going to work anymore.

I was disappointed that they didn't go to Bruce/Stala more for those red zone visits -- they are the play makers and the offense should be using them.

I don't agree that Glenn has been driving the ball. I'm not sure what game you watched. With 5 turnovers you better get 30 points. We should have hung 45 on them with that Ticat defensive perfomance and Toronto's ineptitude

Well, I think what is frustrating is that the Cats drove the ball to the red zone multiple times and walked out with only field goals and singles. I'm not sure which game YOU were watching, but Glenn did a good job moving the ball, just not capping things off.

TO has one of the best if not the best defenses in the CFL. Glenn played a solid game, despite having NO RUNNING GAME WHATSOEVER. Yes you want a guy to drive the ball, put up a ton of points etc, but when facing the best D in the league its nearly impossible to do that when you are one dimensional. We had no rushing attack whatsoever in both of Glenns starts yet we managed to drive the ball pretty darn good considering.

Glen Managed the Game That was his Job..
The playing inside the Redzone was Very Poor..
You can't blame Kevin for that .

You think we did bad leaving points on the field against the Argo's? How about Winnipeg getting 7 turnovers and winning 14-13? Be grateful, we won on labour day, we're above .500 again, and we pretty much ruined Toronto's playoff hopes and extended ours. Fantastic week, gained ground on Montreal, put space between us and winnipeg and toronto.

No, the offense was given excellent field position all afternoon. Glenn and the offense failed miserably on capitalizing

I 100% agree with you.

I am starting to see why Winnipeg let him go. He’s a veteran who makes poor decisions. How many times yesterday did he try to force the ball into tight and sometimes double coverage?

He’s very streaky. We’ll move the ball well then all of a sudden we go 2 and out and leave our defense to go back out there with little rest.

The play calling, especially in the red zone, has been bad and really has to be looked at in the offseason.

This year is honestly the time when we should see what Porter can do. If you wait to play him next year, you have wasted a year and we’ll be a year behind. If Porter is a bust next year, then you have wasted 2 years with this guy. If you play him now and he’s not getting better, you can find someone in the offseason and not waste anymore time.

We all want what’s best for this team, to win a lot of games. As I see it, what you have seen from Glenn the last 2 weeks is as good as it is going to get. He’s a veteran who forces too many balls, isn’t very accurate downfield and doesn’t run. A healthy Porter plays smart and is going to be the long term future of this franchise.

I think we should let Tafralis come in for 2nd and 3rd and inches and let Porter come in for plays inside the red zone. They could each become specialists. Porter would definately take the heat off of Cobb.

I disagree about changing QB’s for special situations. Inside the red zone the playcalling is brutal and on short yardage it should be about bringing in extra linemen for the SBs and a real fullback with a halfback capable of pounding the ball. Personelle is the problem but it isn’t the QB

So I get the logic lets pull the guy who has averaged close to 300 yrds in his 2 starts put up 5 passing TDS and 2 picks for a guy in 7 starts has been pulled multiple time only has 5 passing TD's and averages a whole 165 yards a game. How can you say he didn't move the ball well he had almost 300 yards passing last game but your going to argue a guy with 165 yards average and hasnt had a 200 yard passing game yet has better ball control and and better ball movement and has taken 7 games to equal 2 game in passing TD's. Yet you say Glenn doesn't look good what does this say for Porter if a guy throwning 300 yard games doesn't look good. Glenn obviously moved the ball well since the running game didn't move it so how else did the ball move??? It was only 4 turnovers and 1 at the end of the game I saw a lot more then just 4 - 5 drives.

Edmonton's defense is aweful. Throw that game out and what do you have. Yesterday's poor performance and the Sask debacle

I would stick w/ Glen at this point. But I agree w/ bringing Caulley, our running game needs an overhaul right now.Whats going on with Kenton Keith??

I think the reason Glenn started yesterday is because of Porter's knee problem. That's all.
I was a bit disappointed in Glenn's performance though. He threw some great passes but he also threw plenty of stinkers that were way off the mark or went into the ground. Can't have this kind of inconsistency with the protection he had. I think Porter was more consistent even when he was playing injured, especially with the lack of turnovers.
The win aganst the blue team was an easy one. We should have had more than 40 points. I am afraid if we continue to not take advantage of the opposition's mistakes we won't be so lucky again. And that goes as much to the play calling as it does to Glenn.
One of Glenn's problems is his size. He is short and the defenders know they have a good chance to deflect the ball...which they did last night. Nothing wrong with his arm though.

One more thing...Marcel is a very determined coach. He knew what he was doing when he declared Porter would be the starter. I think Porter will be back as the starter as soon as he is healthy again.
