Last game I’ll even bother turning on from Montreal. Just can’t stand the gd horn.
Does ‘the horn’ know it is upsetting other fans ?
I don’t know why the management lets air horns into the stadium. Imagine having to listen to that if you are there in person and someone (probably a middle school kid) in the same seating section is blowing that damn thing all game long.
If the horns bother you just use your mind to make your listening experience better. The way I cope is to convert that noise in my head to something that’s less irritating… like finger nails screeching across a blackboard.
There. Easy peasy.
WPG won. Glad to know the horn did no good for MTL.
It’s annoying but TSN does amplify the in-stadium noise so it sounds much louder at home. That can be turned off pretty easily by TSN, just watch any NFL broadcast you hardly hear the crowd noise, it’s deafening in the stadium but they filter out the background noise.
The last Argo home game the audio was terrible, you could hardly hear the booth guys and the sound was tinny.
They have to turn off that background speaker
I’ll be looking for a different audio feed when the Lions play there. Just won’t watch any other games from Montreal this year. This was an issue last year also. I hope TSN’s advertisers are listening.
Last year TSN heard the complaints and said that in subsequent games they tried to position their onfield microphones away from the horn guy.
You can’t be serious. One of the things that makes NFL broadcasts way better than CFL broadcasts is the ambient sound from large, loud crowds.
I would love to hear Cody Fajardo blame the horn guy for that disastrous third quarter interception he threw to Brandon Alexander at the Winnipeg three… which was subsequently returned to the Montreal side of the field and ultimately led to the touchdown that pretty much won the game for us.
Hmmm. Come to think of it maybe that horn guy’s on OUR side.
Would that make him horny for the Bombers?
All my Montreal games are as close to muted as possible. I just listen for the ref calls. Can’t believe Alouette management is okay with these buffoons.
What I didn’t get is that even late in the game in that rain after so many had left, there were still some bojacks in the stands blaring those horns as the Alouettes were behind by 14 points late and having to score a touchdown on their current possession.
Totally agree the horn or horns destroy the game for me. I turn on mute but that also spoils the effect of the game
Just say NO to air horns
No way that is all from one jackass.
I’d even guess it is coming from the big speakers.
Add in the Kill Bill music and it’s enough to give anyone a headache
I used to say that Dusty N. was more irritating than MTL’s horn section, but with the loud-mouthed young man spending some time on the practice squad the horns are becoming more obnoxious again.
My point was that during the NFL broadcasts the crowd noise is not overpowering the play by play guys, you aren’t hearing horns or cow bells, they don’t need microphones out into the crowd.
I get it that TSN is trying to create more excitement, but it’s too much, they could easily turn down the ambient noise
I’d mute the horn noise and pipe in sounds from this guy:
