The only way that Tay could have played in the AAFL is [u]if Montreal would have released him from his contract. [/u] Contrary to what people believe, the AAFL still has to honor contracts of players in other leagues.

QB Chris Leak (former Florida Gator, and current Ticat negotiation list guy who failed in his bid to land in the NFL) was supposed to play in the AAFL. Now may he be coming north to attend Ticat training camp?
