In the eyes of Calgary’s GM he was not good enough and in Montreal he has not Loss a step? Does this mean Dickenson has not idea about payer talent
At the time Shawn Lemon was in Calgary it was GM John Hufnagel who decided who came in, who stayed and for what kind of money. He’s made some really good decisions over the years but his decision not to keep ANY given player usually came down to value. Sure Lemon got squeezed out, but one thing about Lemon… he’s not bitter.

Before Lemon went to Montreal, he was released by BC. In training camp, Calgary and BC probably found other players that allow them to let Lemon go. Job of manager favors keeping younger, cheaper or better players.
