This years team has an outstanding running game with Avon, something we lacked last year.
Our passing game looks like it could be even better this year.
Improvements to our kicking game will help us too.
Last year we started the season with a 1 and 4 record and finished 9 and 9
It is imperative we do not have a slow start to our season this year if we have visions of hosting the Eastern Final.
A BIG win against the bummers will get us off on the right foot (or left foot in Medlocks case :wink: )

I like to think we have it a bit easier then some teams for the start of our season.

Winnipeg
Edmonton
Saskatchewan
BC

Winnipeg and Edmonton are both sorta in mid-rebuild. Always better to do well early. :thup:

The regular season is almost upon us!

So, in keeping with my annual resolution, once the regular season starts, I’ll try my best not to complain about that one common mistake that drives me to distraction. . .

But, since the regular season hasn’t quite started yet. . .

Yes, I was wondering if I should have a self-imposed moratorium on that one as well. . .

Oh well. . .maybe I should just give up. . . bought a tub of margarine the other day. . . on the lid it says "50% less calories". .. seems no one knows the different meanings of "less" and "fewer" anymore either. . .
