Watch the Huskies-Rams highlite video on YouTube by going to the http://www.huskieoutsider.com website where the Huskies beat the classless Rams 52 to 29. Pay particular attention to the blocking on a couple of kick returns by Greg Woytowich (#14) and Jahlani Gilbert-Knorren (#7). The Huskies STs coach is Doug Humbert. You may want to give him a call.
Maybe the Riders should give Humbert a call after this season?
The uppermost involvement that Daley should have in football is scrubbing the j-straps for a HS team. His coverage teams are horrid. Nobody seems to know their lanes, or who to block. How many returns have we had against us now...5? blocks 3...4? how many fakes have we run on teams....0. What is he being paid for?
Too bad Daley didn't follow Samurai code. We would have had a replacement special teams coach a long time ago.
miller wont part with anyone what you see is what you get till the of the year to bad its going to be the end of the riders,Back to the 70s and 80s with 4 win seasons
I’d be very surprised if Daley is back next year. I understand them not wanting to shake the boat heading into the playoffs. The last possible moment that they could have got rid of Daley was when they put Dorsey on the 9 game instead of firing Daley.
yeah, Daley should have been turfed LONG AGO. Actually the guy should never have been allowed back into the organization.
I would also like to see Berry and Etch given a pink slip. The Rider brass better wake up. Fans will not tolerate a return to mediocrity
The Eskimos have fired coaches in the past after losing a PLAYOFF GAME!!! Here we reward mediocrity
Agreed Daley should be gone. Doug Berry also, how can you hire an idiot from Winnipeg, he sucks and therefore has to be gone. Last Farmer John miller can leave too. I just hope all this gets straightened out and maybe next year Riders wont be run by morons.

Obviously not as classless as you stanthefan. Spoken like a true tooner I'm not even from Regina and it just gets me how tooners are always dishing it to the city to the south. Both University programs are classy as are PFC Teams. But I do agree with you on Daley he will not be back next year and RiderFan4Life68 yes they should take look at Berry and Etch. Miller should look at some of the players even if the coaches are the problem they are Pro players getting payed if they aren't going to listen maybe they should be given a pink slip too.

Could someone please enlighten me? What did the Rams do to earn this "classless" description from stanthefan? (I mean, I know they lost, but simply losing a game does not make a team "classless"!?!)
I am from the Toon area.
Please accept my apologies for such ignorant statements, even though I did not make them.
I razz Reginians amongst friends...and we all know its in fun...they do it back to me (I have lots of great friends down south). I dont trash the fan of any team...I applaud you for supporting your team. I don
t care if you are a fan of the Stamps, the Rams, the Raptors, the Jays, or the pewee hockey team that plays in the rink at the end of your block. Good for you for your support!
When I was at Grey Cup last year, I smiled as some Stamps fans trashed bad Rider fans during the pregame. I just smiled, and said yeah, there are some. I pointed out there are poor fans everywhere. I had great chats with many of them. I had some that were cold at first but we were drinking buddies after 10 minutes. I had many that openly stated that meeting me slightly swayed their overall opinion...I am proud of that.
When I dawn my Rider gear, I do so with Pride.
When I go to a game, no matter where it is, as a fan, I think we should view ourselves as ambassadors for our team.
kill em with kindness, cuz in the end you only deserve back what you give.
I would rather have a smile on my face and be shaking a hand than be looked at and jeered.
I would rather sit with the oppositions fan and have fun with each other with a few jabs than sit with another Riderfan who is obnoxious.
Hey GDD: There are many videos on the pregame antics from the Rams Huskies game that prove the point. And the real proof is the ruling that CIS officials made on pregame behavior and the letter that was sent out to all teams, condoning taunting and unruly physical behavior before kickoff.. Also where teams are allowed on the field after their introduction.
It was a shameless act, and the Rams HC made it worse by saying on the late night sports news on TV that the pregame fireworks and music were an act to intimidate and taunt his team. The real truth is that our pre and post game fireworks and ceremonies are for the fans enjoyment. We are creating a USA college atmosphere re tailgating, etc. And Daved Benefield, who was a color commentator for Shaw TV, and who was at the Coaches Club pregame, stated it would be great if other CIS teams did what we and Laval do to try and create this type of atmosphere.
In spite of the crass remark about Saskatonian fans being anti Ram fans, I will set things straight from my personal perspective. I love beating the Rams, but if they are in the playoffs and we are not, I fully support them because I am pro Sask. The same holds true for the Thunder. Too bad some people are so thin skinned and sensitive about Prairie rivalry. Incidentally, I hope McCrystal is the Rams HC for a long time, because he is like Blake Nil - both are losers!!!!
Stan, interesting comments. I went to both Universities and as such I have always supported both teams. Perhaps you can explain why people in Saskatoon hate Regina so much, yet people in Regina don't. They don't talk about Saskatoon, truth be told. I've never understood it. It's like kids vs adults.
I kind of agree with a lot of you. Why the Heck have we hired two coaches, one for special teams, and one for offensive co-ordinator, when neither of them have been successful on other teams(?) notably, ONE other team, and we all know who that one is.
And it seems it was just before the 4 game skid.
I agree with the complaints about the defence on the running game, and the special teams…what the heck…? the Riders were pretty dam*ed proud of the entire defence and special teams until about, uhm…lemme see…5 weeks ago?
Except when they are going on about how they never talk about Saskatoon!! Which they seem to do a lot!!
I think they do protest too much.
May I please remind you of the no negativity week in Saskatchewan?
No we don’t unless there is something important in the news? Not sure where you get this info from but it’s incorrect. Not being negative just honest. Not protesting at all, don’t really care.
I was actually at that Rams/Huskies game. I don't think it's fair to just say the Rams were the guilty party. There was a Husky alumni caught on video stomping on a Rams player on the ground. The incident was avoidable and looked bad on both teams.
Sad to see both teams go out in the 1st round of the playoffs, would have loved to see the play each other again.
