Watching the game Saturday night, was painful. It have been the same for past number of years. Saskatchewan does okay or good in the first half, and they don't make adjustments for the second half.
This is occurring repeatly on both defense and offense. That is coaching and general management, and with all do respect to Barrett and Shivers, they have had their 6 years to learn and learn and learn and hopefully build a contender. But they have proven they can't or won't. If it wasn't for the Ottawa draft this year, Saskatchewan would not have picked up anybody new. The problem is the limited budget of Saskatchewan it is the hiring practices of Barret and Shivers. Time for a change and a real one. Unfortunately not many winning coaches out there right now. Maybe we could trade somebody for a decent coach from a winning team.
I say let them finish the season. When was the last time a mid-season firing of a coach improved a team that year. I say let them prove themselves this year one way or the other and as the BOGs have already stated, no home playoff game....good bye. I just don't think that firing them would have the desired effect so many of you seem to think it would. Just my opinion. I guess we will have to wait and see.
We need coaches that understand the concept of half time adjustments.... not even necessarily making their own, although that would be nice, but understanding that the opposing team will probably not keep running the same plays that you've been stopping in the first half. Quite the concept, hey??
Get rid of bolth of them bye bye now!!! Make George Cortez the head coach he has tones of experience behind him, say good bye to richie hall, and bring in another ex rider who I personally know would be totally extatic at the oportunity to return to Regina and be a coach in Bobby Jurasin. Do it Do it now!!! Ohhh and I figure I can be the GM LMAO
Ohhh and RedandWhite at least our receiving corp doesn't turn the endzone into a Dance Club!!!!! (cough cough disgracefull)
If the Riders lose Friday, all shareholders (any of you out there?) need to email the Board of Directors and DEMAND that they sit down to deal with the situation NOW! Next week, or next month could be too late!
p.s. Nice shot towards redwhite, DEFLATED!! The person is a DWEEB.. prerequisite to be a stampeder fan!
........hey, at least our receiver core CAN find the endzone.....seriously, some of you guys can be sore losers a lot of the time.....must be jealousy, that's ok, I understand.......
Have any of you, The Rider faithful, noticed at how some Stamp fans feel obligated to step into "OUR" forum and feebly attempt to dance and gloat all over our posts, this is equally as classless and tasteless as the endzone antics of their rodeo clowns/recieving core. It's all very brash comeing from the 2nd best team in Alberta
Ohhhh dum dum, what game did you watch, Jason Armstead found pay dirt 3 times wich by the way was more than any calgary receiver, and if I remember correctly they didn’t start playing dance dance revolution in the end zone, unlike your disgracefull receivers
And I will be the first to admit that Kenton Keith made us look like a bunch of donkeys by taking forever to run in on the 2pt convert and then dancing arround like a tool, and he is a disgrace to the rider IMO
…I apologize for responding to and taunting some sore loser fans in their forum…bad form…come on over to the stamp forum if you want to continue, you are always welcome…btw, the standings chart would say different…
Get rid of Shiv, but move DB up the GM. I think Danny can spot talent, but doesn't know what to do with it. And I don't think that DB has that winning edge needed to be a coach.
They can’t help it. As soon as they have a couple of decent games, they turn into arrogant as$es, and when things don’t go their way, they cry how it’s so unfair…they act like a bunch of socialists.
…and correct me if I am wrong, other than Manitoba, hasn’t BC elected the last Socialist Government?..glass houses you know, they are never safe to lob stones from…
Redandwhite good god man how many times do I have to shoot you out of the sky dude. Here are the stats off cfl.ca for the Riders vs. Stamps game last week and tell me what you see.

So will you concede now that Jason Armstead saw paydirt more than any Stamps Reciever last week, and that in fact you generally speak of what you do not know.
The sky is falling....the sky is falling!....in BC actually. The Lions can't play a full game and the Riders took full advantage of it. Way to go Riders....keep the faith Danny and Shiv!
