Has anyone been downtown yet ?

Why I am asking this is that just watched the panel on tsn and man it looked dead. about 20 people there that is it.

           http://youtu.be/EfoeuNTUIV4

Not sure where they've got their panel set up, but I was in gastown last night and saw lots of CFL jerseys, mostly Rider and Cats....folks are a comin'. Have a reception tonight early then over to the Spirit Room in the Wall Centre and it'll be packed for sure...will report later.

in the convention centre but they were there this morning so that might have a lot to do with it.

Vancouver is a boring city and the cops are very heavy handed... I would not count on any excitement from that city. Since the riots the city has become like a military state when there is any event.. I dont even bother anymore.. Even Wreck beach has cops crawling all over the place... It really is no fun at all. You spend a pile of money to do anything and have a mediocre time.

Well then why post about it . Vancouver has been voted over and over again one of the most beautiful and fun city's in the world to visit .

No it hasnt!!! Its called the no fun city... Just google no fun city and Vancouver is the response you will get... It is the most expensive city in north america and the most congested city in north america... More criminals from overseas launder their money through the real estate system every year and 30% of kids are on the lunch program because their parents cant afford food... Why not go visit the city yourself and see it with the blinders off... Take away the mountains and you have
Miami... A third world city of extreme poverty and extreme criminal wealth...

CFL and the Grey Cup host cities have been setting up large area's, like the convention center, for center of Grey Cup activities.
As well each team also has its own indoor home base area where they set up their team parties and activities. I dont think that there will be any kind of Mardi Gras atmosphere taking place on the streets of Vancouver or any other city for that matter.
Safer and more feasible to have large area's that are designated for league and team activities in this modern age.
Also pointed out as well as the weekend gets closer more people will have their plans to be coming to the Grey Cup. Being in Vancouver, unlike having it in an eastern city or even a prairie city, is a much further distance to travel from the next closest city that would bring people in for the day.

Just like you invite us to Vancouver I'd invite you to go see what a real third world city in Africa looks like and then come back and tell me how it compares to Vancouver.

I vacation in Miami all the time. I see lots of ferraris on the street. I dont vacation in Zimbabwe or Ethiopia and I doubt there are many Ferraris out on the street in those countries.

Vancouver and Miami third world cities. Please teach me more about the world  .

If vancouver is a third world city so is Hamilton, Toronto, Montreal, London, Windsor. And if thats the case the WHOLE WORLD IS THIRD WORLD.

Vancouver went from being a no fun city to a third world city in one post lmfao. In the next post its probably going to be a war zone lol.

BUT WAIT. I have more. the 15th best liveable city in the world and the most liveable city in North America is.... wait for it.... A THIRD WORLD CITY. If the most livable city in North America is third world the rest must be 4th world, 5th world maybe even OUT OF THIS WORLD city.

14 Berlin Germany
15 Vancouver Canada
16 Singapore

Sandwiched right in between other obvious third world cities such as berlin and singapore.

Can you say "HYPERBOLE" Bungle? rotflmho Good grief. You can be so full of it sometimes. Thanks for the laugh. :rockin:

continually complains about the cost, apparently doesn't like the city at, and works on rotational basis that would allow him to live essentially anywhere he chooses.

nuff said

I was just asking who was downtown

heh heh

Evidently not Bungle!

Well according to the Globe and Mail.. Vancouver, toronto and Montreal are all third world cities with a huge disparity in classes. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-de ... e21456139/
If something is not done fast... This will be the future for all three cities... Instead of Russian and Brazilian criminals.. We have Chinese and Subcontinent criminals.. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/wor ... e21403704/

Just got back from downtown , all party's are rocken especially the lions den and sask , every were you go is a cfl jersey lots of fun

Still not a single post of any significance or substance from mr. Bungle.

So leave then. I love living in Vancouver, it's one of the very best places to live in the world, obviously.
